Anna and I stopped into the Springville Art Museum last week to check out their Annual Quilt Show. We try to make it down every year, and it is something I enjoy quite a bit. It might come as a surprise (or maybe it won’t), but I like looking at quilts, the simple colors, needlework, and geometry. You can find many quilts and quilt inspired patterns in my drawing, prints, and paintings.
There is still a little time to see the Quilt Show, you just can’t wait too much longer. The exhibit comes down on September 1st.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see the Don Olsen painting that is usually on display at the museum, because that has been rotated out of the permanent collection for now.
