Submerged in Art is a fundraiser for The Road Home. The event will go down on March 4th, at 6pm located at 2275 S. Highland Drive, right above the Taproom. A portion of the artist’s sales and all proceeds from the prize-drawings, silent auctions and door donations will benefit the Road Home homeless shelter. Organizers suggest a donation of $3 at the door.
Artists include Iosua Tai Taeoalii, Adrienne Taeoalii, Troy Henderson, Trisha Henderson, Darrell Driver, Mason Fetzer, Sandy Parsons, Adrian Prazen, Veronica Perez, Adam J. Woolsey, Brian Gerber, Sonya Evans, Joshua L. Johnston, Kali Mellus, Kat Martin, BERG, Alex Boynton and the Craft Sabbath co-op.
DJ Sayo will perform, and Johnny Riche will emcee. The Precinct, Brian Bingham, the Utah Slam Poetry Team, Jesse Parent and internationally renowned poet Jean Howardn will perform.
The list of sponsors reads like my personal friend list – SLUG Mag, KRCL, Tacos Hidalgo, Rockwell and Brian Bingham. The prizes look pretty sweet – with my favorite restaurants like Estees and Squatters donating. Check it out and let us know if you have fun! All for a good cause.

The show was awesome, we had over 700 people show up and raised nearly $4,000 for the Road Home. Pictures and video from the 2011 show will be available at http://www.submergedinart.com by March 13th. Thanks Artduh for sharing.
