The Exquisite Corpse is a game invented by the Surrealists which allowed multiple people to contribute to the spontaneous creation of a work of art. One person would begin a drawing, fold and conceal what they made, and pass it along to the next person who would add to the piece. Finally, after everyone had contributed, a new piece of artwork is made. It’s amazing to me how we try to find and how meaning can surface from these random drawings.
