Today our good friend Ruthann Hertel of babyGgear is guest blogging for us. As Craft Sabbath’s premier maker of things for babies, we asked Ruthie to help us welcome the event’s own precious new baby, Ruby to the crafting world. Thanks for your hard work on this post, Ruthie.
We would like to introduce Ruby Padme Thompson to the Craft Sabbath Family and the world. She was born Thursday, August 26th to our very own Meg and Tim and Lily. She was a perfect 7lbs, 5oz and 19 inches long.
We all want to say “welcome to the world”.
There are many things available for you to spoil baby Ruby and your own little one at the September 12th Craft Sabbath. Here are just a few;
The Full Spectrum Designs from Sonya Evans has just that, a full spectrum of great clothing. Ruby and any baby will look great in her hand screen printed onesies and dresses. She has sizes from newborn to 18 months. Her items are done in limited runs so the designs are fresh and always new. Make sure you check out here booth and online at etsy.com/shop/thefullspectrum. Here is just a sneak peak at some of the adorable baby items available from Sonya.
Locust of the Sea from Sarah de Azevedo has some of the cutest and unique baby headbands I’ve ever seen. They are perfect for those adorable baby’s first photos. How cute will your little cupcake be in this cute cupcake headband? How about a pretty daisy headband for your little flower? Or this layer cake headband for your little sugar cake?
Another great option for spoiling baby Ruby is a Grimmleigh’s Fiend. They might be famous for their freighting beasties, but they also have the cutest baby Grimmleighs too. One of my favorites is the baby Squidleighs.
They can make you one that matches the baby’s room perfectly. Or they can even make a custom one that looks very similar to your little angel. Check out their website for all the items they have available. Grimmleighs.com Make sure to check out the custom Grimmleighs section for all the customs they have done.
Another great idea from the Grimmleighs is their baby Mobiles. Make sure you check out their booth to get a peak at this adorable baby gift!
Last but not least is babyGgear by me, Ruthann Hertel; everything to make baby Ruby Rock!
You can doll her up in one of these adorable skirted onesies. Or make her sparkle in this rhinestone Diva onesies. Or she can be too-too cute in this cute tutu. (How cute would she be if you added the tutu to the diva onesies?? So cute!)
I Love custom orders, so please don’t hesitate to email me with design ideas!
Don’t worry; if your little one is a boy, I have lots of items for him too!
Other great items are cute handmade beanies, wash clothes, hair clips, binkie leashes and much much more!
And if you want to get Ruby or even yourself a little friend, I have them too. My Sock Monsters are handmade from new socks and either new or vintage buttons, to give each their own personalities.
Make sure to visit my booth for babies that Rock! Or check out my website now babyGgear.com.
I can’t forget something special for big Sister, Lily. Here are a few of my picks:
A cuter than cute Grimmleigh flower headband, an awesome bicycle hoodie from the Full Spectrum, these “Milkshake Pinky Goodness” bobbie pens from Locust of the Sea, or this sweet purple kitty from babyGgear.
This is just a taste of the artists at September’s Craft Sabbath. There will also be some new artists debuting their wares, so make sure you come to the Main Library downtown, September 12th from 1pm-5pm and support your local artists.
